Dr Angus Hughes

Registered Osteopath – MOst Med. BClinSc (OstSt)

Angus is a registered osteopath who completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies locally at Southern Cross University. Coming from a blue-collar working family, he understands firsthand the toll that hard physical labour can take on the body. This experience helps him connect with and relate to patients from all walks of life, especially those who rely on their bodies to work, provide, and live well.

With over 17 years of soccer/football, more than a decade of consistent gym-based hypertrophy training, and the past two years immersed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Angus lives and breathes physical activity. He also enjoys long-distance running and most things outdoors, which adds to his practical understanding of movement, endurance, and recovery.

Angus uses a holistic osteopathic approach to help patients improve function, reduce pain, and build confidence in their bodies. His relatable and down-to-earth nature allows him to support people at all stages of life, whether they’re athletes, tradies, parents, or weekend warriors.

Outside the clinic, Angus is happiest keeping active in the gym, on the mats, or outdoors—and he never says no to a good steak.
